Healthscreen partners with TELUS Health Solutions

Proud to be the first EMR software provider for the Launch of TELUS health space, powered by Microsoft HealthVault.

Toronto, ON, May 31, 2010 - Healthscreen Solutions announced today that it has entered into a Letter of Agreement with TELUS Health Solutions to connect its electronic medical record (EMR) software to the TELUS health space platform.

TELUS health space is the first consumer e-health platform for the Canadian market. It will provide a secure and complete repository of health data for individual Canadians, allowing easy access and entry of data from all healthcare institutions and stakeholders.

Recognizing the critical role that physicians play in the creation, management and distribution of medical information, TELUS health space has been designed to allow easy collaboration between physicians and their patients via Healthscreen’s EMR software.

By fully leveraging Healthscreen’s existing network of over five thousand physicians, this partnership could easily enable over five million Canadians to access important electronic medical information currently residing in their physicians’ offices.
